How do I choose the right volume for my Firewire surfboard?
We recommend using our online Volume Calculator which factors in your weight, fitness level, and the type of waves you intend to surf. Generally, our Linear Flex Technology (LFT) and Helium constructions provide more buoyancy than traditional PU boards, so you might be able to ride a slightly lower volume.
What is the difference between Helium 2 and LFT construction?
Helium 2 is our lightest construction, offering incredible flex and memory for high-performance maneuvers in smaller waves. Linear Flex Technology (LFT) uses a composite stringer for a feel closer to a traditional high-end PU board, providing stability and drive in more powerful surf.
How long does shipping take for a new board?
In-stock surfboards typically ship within 2-4 business days. Depending on your location, transit time usually takes between 3 to 7 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your board leaves our warehouse.
What should I do if my board arrives damaged?
Please inspect your board immediately upon delivery before signing the carrier's receipt. If you notice any damage to the box or the board, document it with photos and contact our support team within 24 hours so we can initiate a claim and get you a replacement.
Are Firewire surfboards eco-friendly?
Yes, we are committed to sustainability. All our boards carry the ECOBOARD Project Gold Level certification, utilizing bio-resins and recycled materials to reduce our carbon footprint without compromising on performance.
Can I return a surfboard if I change my mind?
We accept returns on unused surfboards in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and a restocking fee may apply. Used boards cannot be returned.
